Product Security & Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Compliance Policy

Horion is committed to ensuring that all applicable connected products supplied to the UK market comply with the requirements of the UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act.

We prioritize cybersecurity, product integrity, and responsible vulnerability management to protect customers, partners, and end users.

This policy applies specifically to eligible Horion M6A Pro V2 Interactive Flat Panel products sold or distributed within the United Kingdom, including 65M6A Pro V2, 75M6A Pro V2, 86M6A Pro V2, and 98M6A Pro V2.

1. Prohibition of Default Universal Passwords

Horion products are designed and configured to comply with PSTI password security requirements.

  • Devices do not use universal default passwords.
  • Where passwords are required, users must create unique credentials during setup or devices are provisioned with unique credentials.
  • Password management mechanisms are designed to reduce unauthorized access risk.

3. Product Security Update Assurance

At Horion, we are committed to delivering secure, reliable, and future-ready products. We recognize the critical importance of security maintenance and continuously invest in the resources necessary to strengthen product security, software stability, and user experience.

Applicable Horion interactive displays, smart conferencing devices, and connected commercial display products may receive regular software, firmware, and security updates through OTA (Over-the-Air) or equivalent update mechanisms where supported.

Horion Security Update Commitment

3.1 Long-Term Security Support

Starting from the product's initial release date or final manufacture date (as applicable), Horion commits to providing security update support for eligible products for a minimum period of 2 years.

During this support period, Horion will regularly assess, review, and address relevant security, usability, and system integrity issues.

  • Operating system or application updates
  • Vulnerability remediation
  • Performance and stability improvements

3.2 Update Frequency

Horion releases updates based on product requirements, emerging cybersecurity risks, and technical feasibility. Critical security vulnerabilities are prioritized to maintain product protection standards.

3.3 Update Notifications

Information regarding software and security updates may be provided through applicable Horion communication channels, including:

Users are strongly encouraged to maintain current firmware and software versions to maximize security and product performance.

3.4 Policy Updates & Extension

If Horion extends product security support periods or materially updates security policies, revised information will be published through official channels as soon as reasonably practicable.

Product Lifecycle Notice

As technology evolves, certain advanced software features or major platform upgrades may be limited by hardware capabilities, system architecture, or performance constraints of older devices.

While Horion strives to maximize long-term product support, some feature-specific upgrades may not be available for all legacy products due to:

  • Hardware limitations
  • Processor performance
  • Memory constraints
  • Compatibility requirements

This limitation does not affect Horion's commitment to applicable security compliance obligations during the declared support period.
